The Creator of the universe comes into the world as a vulnerable baby. What an incredible thought! That is exactly what we celebrate at Christmas: God became a human being.
God’s love for his Son is perfect, and he gives us that same love! In Jesus, we belong to his family.
At Christmas time, our desire for acceptance and comfort grows. God has placed this longing in our hearts so that he himself can satisfy it.
A while ago, a touched user wrote to us about this. Her story touched me deeply: “Reading the Bible with ERF Bibleserver makes me feel like I am truly part of God’s family. Especially in difficult times, I feel this love particularly strongly.”
Isn’t that encouraging? Her experience reflects the most beautiful message of Christmas, which the Apostle John puts into words as follows:
